An occupational therapist is clinically trained to assess a person’s ability to perform everyday activities, despite any physical, cognitive, psychological or emotional limitations they may have.

When Cindy works with clients, she watches them perform these activities and identifies the obstacles they must deal with to perform them. Then she will offer solutions for the obstacles that fit within the overall plan, the budget, and the timeline.

Cindy is not a builder, and does not want to be one.  She is delighted to work with CAPS designated builders or designers because she  knows that they already understand many of the common barriers. Cindy bring an additional layer of understanding to the design process. The information she provides will allow you to create an extremely personalized and effective design for your client.

Adding Cindy Lourie to your design team is a win for you and your client. You will be adding a level of expertise your competition cannot match and you’ll be delivering a home configuration that will work for your client today and in the future.
